Important information
Minimum age and size for the cavern
The minimum age to visit the cave is 5 years, and children must be at least 42 inches (3,5 feet) tall, as they must be able to navigate the descent on their own.
Stroller
The trails are not accessible by baby carriage.
We recommend that parents of young children use a baby carrier. This will enable them to accompany you everywhere on the site, except in the cavern, where some passages are very narrow.
Dogs and pets
Your well-behaved dogs are welcome on the grounds. They must be kept on a leash at all times. Don’t forget to pick up after them! However, they are not allowed in the cave, the visitor center, or the screening room.
Appropriate footwear and clothing
- Walking shoes mandatory (espadrilles);
- Be sure to bring a warm sweater, since the temperature in the cave is 4,5° Celsius.
Hiking trails
Always stay within the footpaths to preserve the vegetation. Some plants are even rare!
Be environmentally conscious and return your waste to the reception pavilion.
Physical conditions
TRAILS
Due to their rustic nature and the presence of several steps, good physical condition is required for the following trails: De la Caverne, De la Montagne, Des Trois Chutes.
CAVERNE
For your safety, access to the cave is restricted to visitors who are in good physical condition and comfortable in confined, slippery, and rocky spaces. Visitors with certain medical conditions (back pain, injuries, heart or respiratory problems) or who are more than 5 month pregnant are not permitted to visit.
